Welcome to my bilingual Spanish/English blog started on the 202nd anniversary of the first proclamation of liberty of the Venezuelan people in 1810. Now, in 2012, Latin America and the Caribbean are on the road to greater sovereignty, social justice and a fortuitous integration that promises peace and meeting of the essential needs of its peoples. This was the dream of the Liberator, Simón Bolívar.

The hero of Cuba, José Marti said:" Liberty is the right of every man (and woman) to be honest, to think and to speak the truth." Although we do not always have the whole truth before us, and sometimes it is not easy to discern it in this world where "communication" has also become the art of the spin, I can promise at least, honest opinions, to do as the good Book asks, share:"all which I have learned without guile, and communicate without envy."(Wisdom vii,7-14)

I will post some "good views" (buena vistas) which I have written in both languages in various outlets; as well, I will post my political commentaries on issues about Canada and about Latin America that are broadcast every Tuesday at 12:15 on the Latin American community radio in Toronto, Voces Latinas, CHHA RADIO  1610 AM.

Bienvenidos a mi espacio electrónico bilingue Castellano/Inglés que comienzo en el aniversario de los 202 años desde la primera proclamación de libertad del pueblo venezolano en 1810. Ahora, en el 2012, América Latina y el Caribe van rumbo hacia la auténtica  soberanía, justicia social, y una afortunada integración que promete paz y la satisfacción de las necesidades esenciales de sus pueblos. Ese era el sueño del Libertador,  Simón Bolívar.

El héroe de Cuba, José Martí dijo: "La libertad es el derecho de todo hombre (y mujer) de ser honesto, de pensar y hablar la verdad."  Aunque no siempre tenemos ante nosotros toda la verdad, y algunas veces no es fácil percibirla en este mundo donde "la comunicación"  se ha convertido en el arte del disimulo, puedo al menos prometer opiniones honestas, y hacer lo que pide el buen Libro, compartir: "todo lo que he aprendido sin astucia, y comunico sin celos." (Sabiduría vii,7-14)

Este espacio colocaré mis "buenas vistas" que he escrito en ambos idiomas en varios lugares. También colocare mis comentarios políticos sobre asuntos en Canadá, en Latinoamérica y el Caribe que son difundidos todos los martes a las 12:15 pm en el radio comunitario latino-americano en Toronto, Voces Latinas, Radio CHHA 1610 AM.
